The Scots Qhuissil
The Scots Quhissil is a unique musical instrument, produced at Winton Pottery in East Lothian.
Based on the traditional ocarina, it has five finger holes, allowing the full bagpipe scale. Additional notes are available, giving a full chromatic scale.
The back of the quhissil is decorated with the angel piper from Rosslyn Chapel.
Each qhuissil comes with playing instructions and a leather thong for use as a pendant, packed in a neat black box, overall size 90mmx90mm.
